How it works
How it works: all processing is local with JavaScript in your browser. The comparer uses the line-based diff algorithm (LCS) and Morse follows the ITU international standard.
Use cases
- Repair a document pasted with caps lock on by converting its ALL-CAPS text to lowercase
- Delete the duplicate line breaks from text you copied out of a messy PDF document
- Count the characters excluding spaces in your post so you stay within the allowed limit
Frequently asked questions
Are my texts uploaded to any server?
No. Everything is processed locally in your browser with JavaScript; nothing leaves your device.
How does the comparer work?
It compares line by line with the LCS algorithm: green for added, red for removed, gray for unchanged.
Does Morse include Ñ?
Yes: we use the extended international standard, which includes Ñ (−−.−−) and digits.
What does "Title Case" do?
Capitalizes the first letter of each word, like headlines. "Sentence case" only the first letter of the text.
