What does the finiquito include?
Pending salary days, proportional yearly bonus, proportional unused vacation and vacation premium (25% of vacation pay). For unjustified dismissal, liquidación applies instead.
How many vacation days do I get?
Under the 2023 reform: 12 days year one, 14 year two, 16 year three, 18 year four, 20 year five, then +2 days every 5 years.
Is finiquito the same as liquidación?
No. Finiquito applies to voluntary resignation or justified termination; liquidación (3 months + 20 days per year + seniority premium) applies to unjustified dismissal.
