How it works
How it works: barcodes are drawn with the JsBarcode library right in your browser and download as images. To read QR codes, the image is scanned pixel by pixel with the jsQR decoder. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Which barcode formats are supported?
CODE128 (most versatile), EAN-13 (retail products), UPC-A (US) and CODE39 (inventory). Pick what your system requires.
Does EAN-13 validate the check digit?
Yes: type 12 digits and the 13th is computed automatically. You can also type all 13 directly.
How do I read a QR from a photo?
Upload the image containing the QR code and the tool shows its content (link, text, etc.) ready to copy or open.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Both generating and reading happen entirely in your browser.
