How it works
How it works: the SheetJS library loads in your browser and reads/writes .xlsx files locally. When merging, each file becomes a sheet; when splitting, new files are generated per sheet or per row blocks. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Are my files uploaded to any server?
No. SheetJS works 100% in your browser: files never leave your device.
What formats are accepted?
.xlsx (modern Excel). Old .xls and .csv are not supported by this tool.
Are formulas and formatting kept?
Values yes; complex formulas and advanced formatting may be simplified when rewriting the file.
Is there a size limit?
It depends on your device memory: files up to tens of MB work fine.
