Are my images uploaded to any server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
Which format should I choose?
JPG for photos you will share (small files). PNG for screenshots with text or when you need max quality. WebP is smaller than JPG at the same quality and supported by all modern browsers.
Can I convert to AVIF?
Browsers cannot widely encode AVIF from canvas yet, so we offer the three universally supported formats: JPG, PNG and WebP.
Do I lose quality converting?
Never to PNG (lossless). To JPG or WebP it depends on the quality you pick: 90% looks identical to the original in most photos.
